Thai Yoga Massage is normally done by having the client lay on a mat that is on the floor. It is a gentle full body massage, with breath-work and acupressure release. I will be using an electric massage table (this allows the massage table to be quickly moved into positions to allow for the best position to work on your body) for the Thai Yoga Massage.
The best way to explain Thai Yoga Massage is you are laying on the massage table, at times you will either be on your back, your stomach or on your side. I will start at your feet and work up your body, front and back, ending with an arm and face/head massage. I even give you a stomach massage.
Until I get to know you and your body, I will explain what I am doing and how I will move the body part I am working on in a position. I will not do a position that you feel uncomfortable with. I will always check in with you to see if the pressure is to light, just right or too much. You are important to me and I want you to have the best experience.
As a bonus for you, I will also be using Reiki energy during the session. The energy is always on for me and I can’t turn it off, as it’s as natural as breathing for me.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECEIVE THAI YOGA TABLE MASSAGE ON ANY AREA THAT WILL BE TREATED, IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Serious medical conditions such as cancer; when a client is undergoing serious medical treatment or has an active infection
